TRADITIONAL PRAWNS BIRYANI RECIPE/STEP BY STEP METHOD/JINGA BIRYANI/PRAWNS DUM BIRYANI


Traditional Mangalore recipe for prawns biriyani/step by step method/Friday special /this video will help you to prepare a delicious taste of Mangalore biriyani set biriyani/dum biriyani


Serves: 6 -8
Ingredients:
For paste:
Ginger - 2”
Garlic cloves - 10
Green chilly - 17
Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp

For masala:
Onion (thinly chopped) - 7 separate some onion for deep fry 
Tomato - sliced 3
Prawns-30 (big size)

For Rice:
Basmati rice or any long grained rice -4 cup
Cinnamon stick (small) - 1
Cardamom 4
Bay leaves 3
Lemon juice 1/2

For fried prawns:
Prawns ( small size ) : 40 or 1/2 kg
Red chilly powder: 1 tbsp
Salt :1/2 tsp
Lemon juice :1/2 tsp
Vinegar:1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
Corn flour:1 tbsp
Oil for fry

For assembling and garnish:
Small prawn fried: 40 or 1/2 kg
Deep fried onion: 1/2 cup
Kesar/Saffron milk - 1 tbsp
Mint leaves - ¼ cup
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)-1/2cup
Ghee - 2 Tsp
